Nov 30th          Pilot Hut on the Castle Estate for sale but not taken up (To be removed)                       

Jan 1931          Dartmouth Charities,     Sale of Bell Inn agreed.

                        HMS Dartmouth brass plate not for sale by Admiralty

    8th                Meeting between Council & Commercial Association to discuss a bridge over the river

Feb 31st           Putting Green on Embankment agreed.

       24th           Green attendant to receive 50% of takings (Opened Whit Monday)

April 20th          OK for Swimming Club to use town flag pole when there is a Water Polo Match

May 28th          Steam Fire Engine to be kept as a standby

July 6th             Gravel fill tenders accepted for Coombe, Quality found to be iffy

Oct 15th           Castle Estate A Mr Watkins declined to sell a small area of land for road improvements giving reason, letter destroyed unread.

 

Nov 1931 to Oct 1932

March 17th       Paint Works sit suggested for a swimming pool

July14th            Ministry insist on railings for North Embankment (as agreed originally)

       26th           Council Engineer directed to provide 6 Bathing tents on North Embankment with Raft moored off. Tent hire 3p ½ hour, attendants remuneration 33 1/3 % of receipts.

Nov 1934 to Oct 1935

Nov 24th          Bowling Green, Successor to the title for the original lease refused £20 offer by council to purchases his interest, no further action to be taken for time being (He wanted £100).

June 30th          Provision of Bowling Green, Golf Course, Flats & Pavilion at Coombe recreation area agreed.
