Oct 15^th Castle Estate A Mr Watkins declined to sell a small area of land for road improvements giving reason, letter destroyed unread.

March 17^th Paint Works sit suggested for a swimming pool

July14th Ministry insist on railings for North Embankment (as agreed originally)

26^th Council Engineer directed to provide 6 Bathing tents on North Embankment with Raft moored off. Tent hire 3p ½ hour, attendants remuneration 33 1/3 % of receipts.
