moved into yacht building.

after WWII, ships scrapped or sold. Coal Lumpers – fuelling & bunkering
ships, plans for installation to fuel ship from Warfleet in 1930’s
Fred lived in Higher St
demolished in 1920’s slim clearance, worked as a coal lumper, health problems,
Ernie Bevin established the Stevedores Union in Dartmouth. Mentions Channel Coaling Co, Gas
Works, Electric Light Co & Education in Dartmouth before WWII.
